Probably could have found a Bugatti or Packard boattail in place of the NSX. Wait guys it's still early on the west coast. When the old guy in Seattle gets up, he'll complain about why no mustangs made the list! BWWWAaaahhhaahhhahha!

Wow. What a load of whining pansies here today.

Asking celebrities to designate great cars is like asking a plumber to front for the Beatles.

Concept cars and one off custom jobs have no place on this list.

Acura NSX...  Seriously?  How could you even BEGIN to compare that to real classics like the 250 GTO and Lusso or the XKE or 63 Split Window 'Vette? It has all the style of painter pants and performance that was barely above so-so. And then leave off the Lamborghini Miura?  My guess is the author owns a NSX and thinks it's the BOMB!

The Lamborghini Miura is one of the most cars ever designed, but it is missing in this list of best.

Sad for the team of Motor Trend.

I do like all of these cars, save for that ugly Iso.

I owned one of my favorites coupes for a long, long time, until it was vandalized at a friend's storage space: '69 Volvo 1800 S in red.  Looks a lot like a '60s Ferrari because they shared a coach designer.  As bad as it was after the vandalism, I wish I have saved it for restoration because they have finally started to skyrocket in value. Super reliable.  Super safe for its time.  Slightly under-powered for its price tag, with a trampley solid rear axle, but otherwise a beautiful car to own. Mine was a little faster than others because somebody had mounted dual Stromberg downdraft carbs to get it to move a bit faster. I've been told this year originally had those junky SUs.  I have also been told this year had fuel injection that was dodgy. Not sure which it really had.

My favorite all-time?  '67 Jag XKE coupe, yellow, silver or red.

IMO this is a nice list of great cars. It is just one list. It is tough to pick so few cars with so many great ones out there.
As for the NSX... I'm guessing most of those who are slamming it here don't know all the facts. Honda built it from the ground up, not using an already used platform.
They received more than 400 patents in it's development. It has quite a few production firsts... the first production car with titanium connecting rods, the first with electronic power steering. It is the 1st all aluminum, frame and body production car.
It made Ferrari stand up and take notice as well as the rest of the world.
So IMO it has made in impact in the automotive world.
I don't know very many people who think it isn't a good looking, sexy car.
But by the post here, there are quite a few here who don't like the styling (beauty is in the eye of the beholder).
With all the bean counters at major car companies, especially in the modern car era, it is amazing Honda was willing to go out and spend the money it took to develop the NSX from the ground up.

I love most all cars and enjoy American Muscle Cars as much as anybody. I've always loved the Ford GT 40 and the later reproductions are very nice too.

As for celebrities not being able car authorities... I'm not so sure about those comments. I'm sure they are more credible than some of those who have posted here. Me included.

I enjoyed this MSN, MotorTrend article. As I do others I see posted here.

U guys should probably read the words in the article before posting your disgust.  These are not ranked in any order, and each pick was picked by a different person (Contributor).

They justified the NSX's pick in the text.

If you have never driven one, you really have no idea of how good a car it actually is.  This was not the most popular sports coupes, it was the Worlds Greatest.
