That caddy looks like it has more in common with a hearse than a wagon.
And why is the Prius V notable? Expensive for its class, also slow and heavy compared to its lighter yet a bit less fuel friendly competitors. The extra room is misconception, that small engine has trouble even with 4 average people in it.
For 10k less you can get a faster more practical car. Saving $500/year on gas will take you 20 years to justify that extra 10k more this car cost than others in its class.
What happend to the Focus Wagon? Ford discontinued it in 2007, but its back in europe - how about the US?! I have an 03 Focus wagon, its ugly, but very functional! Need a new refridgerator, no problem, put it in the "trunk". Wanna go canoeing, no problem, throw it on top and the gear in the back!
I'll never buy a sedan again!
Bring back the Dodge Magnum. The best looking wagon in years and they discontinue it. I would love to renew mine. I have an '05 RT AWD with 90,000 miles and it has never let me down in any kind of weather. It doesn't get the best gas mileage but I don't care. I haven't put more that $2,500 into repairs in it since I bought it brand new and it still looks and drives like new. I have had many offers to buy it but I'm keeping it for a while longer.
There is absolutely no reason to disparage any of the cars featured in this article. This article also has a car for everyone. For those who want performance, consider the Audi, Cadillac, BMW or Mercedes Benz. For those who want to save gas, consider the Volkswagen, the Toyota, or the Hyundai. For those looking for an interesting alternate, consider the Acura, Volvo or Subaru.
Only the feeble minded feel the need to disparage others' cars. Why do that? How childish is that? Anyway, for me the car here would be the Cadillac CTS-V, black, 6 speed manual. It's a free country. Buy the car that fits you best. Live and let live. Be kind to others. Let freedom ring.
