uemployed849,

You don't understand how the economy works, especially when it comes to cars evidently.

How about the jobs the American automanufacturer's OUTSOURCED to Canada and Mexico?  Many foreign automanufacturers have plants here with AMERICAN workers.  Where do you think those workers spend their money?  Here in the US.

There is no such thing as separate economies anymore.  The economy is globalized.  American car companies have factories in other countries too.  It's not just foreign companies having factories here in the US.  It has been PROVEN time and time again, that purchasing a domestic car does NOT contribute anymore to our GDP compared to purchasing a foreign car!  It turns out that you can purchase ANY car, and it still helps the economy.  This is not opinion, this is proven fact.

Contrary to popular belief all of the profits do NOT go back to the respective countries.  The manufactuer makes their profit when the dealers purchase the vehicles.  The profits the dealers in the US make stays here in the US.

None of vehicles pictured on this list are crap.

I don't get it?  Why the station wagon?  MSN, you do known that they offer the CTS-V in a sedan don't you?  I mean, the wagon might be alright for the Grizwalds, but come on!

Oh, and the anti-Ford guy "V", it would do you well to read sometime. Pick up a car mag like Motor Trend, or Car and Driver. You might learn something.

Why is it that these lists usually contain $70,000 cars, and don't have cars that the average person can afford?

During time when Americans are struggling to keep their houses and feed their families, we see a post like this.  Why doesn't MSN have a separate Website for the 1% so the rest of us don't have to see this kind of crap.

That Ferrari Shooting Break is just beautiful. If the US could make more cars like this & copy more foreign designs then maybe more people would buy American.

The fact is US cars are ugly & have been for over 30 years now. The only people who buy US cars are the bible belters & the over patriotic beyond reason. And the only people pissed about articles like this are the unemployed.

Oh well. Merry Christmas! Smile

The least you could is put AMERICAN cars in peoples driveway and save some AMERICAN AUTO WORKERS JOBS instead of always pushing these foreign pieces of crap!!!!!!
