How can you have a list like this and not include the 2011 and MOST recent Mustangs that come with the Shaker 1000 system. Well, my kid loves it, you can at about 1/2 power make the entire car vibrate down the road, it's a beast of a system, but adjusted properly puts out an incredibly pure sound with the Bose system...Seriously, bang for the buck, not many of these others are in the same league. These guys (and girls) doing these articles need to do a bit more comprehensive research as this is a pathetically shallow short sited evaluation of great audios in cars. Mustangs should have at least been investigated and it wouldn't have took much research to learn this. Heck, even the STANDARD Shaker 500, knocks most of these out, coming in at 500 watts of Bose power and a really nice clear sound, come on guys, do your research...

The ELS system by Acura is A-MAZ-ING! From Boney James to Ludacris to Dr. Dre to Prince to David Bowie to Aerosmith....well done Honda/Acura! Well done! Nice move from Bose, who I feel have been slipping for sometime now. Nothing like having a Grammy winning sound engineering to design a sound system, smart.

Yeah, and whatever happened to ALPINE, CRAIG and PIONEER. Besides, when do they plan on trying to re-introduce 8 Track Tape players to us, and oh, the old head rest, baby moons, reverse chromes, Hooker-headers? If you heard one good sound system, most likely you've heard them all but 1200 watts in a

Nice to see a list of the best...thought I would add some comments about my vehicles. I have an '09 Porsche Boxster. The sound system is horrible. I also have a 2011 Subaru Forester. The sound system is horrible X 5. I hung on to my 2003 Nissan Pathfinder for my kids to abuse. The sound system, (Bose) rocks! Best car audio system I've ever owned! Also, for those blasting their 1000 watt audio systems in their cars, enjoy it while you can...you'll be deaf by middle age, and that's from the voice of experience!

I have had Acura DVD A since 2005 in 2 TL models, thought it was great until I bought a Lexus ES 350 with Mark Levinson DVD A changer. I disagree with your comment regarding TL audio being the best of the midrange luxury sedans. The TL is certainly easier to use and more user friendly, but I think the sound of the ML is superior.
