Does somebody actually get paid to write this stuff.. Cars you lust after are the ones you can't afford, old and new mustangs??? Corvettes?  A F---ing Ford truck???  the Jag is about as low as I would go on the price scale, the Mass, the Lambro, ARF, 940 P, Ford GT-40, etc. those are dream cars. Only a real Shelby, no kits.  Come on, the world is full of great cars to lust after, don't give me this poorly researched crap.

Who ever came up with this list must drive a Prius, not one musclecar in the bunch.......

I can't believe nobody out there has never lusted after a Ford GT40.  It's only one of the most iconic cars out there.  And what about a Viper?  Jeez, are you all dead out there?

I have lusted in my life, but never after a car.....

Nice list for dreaming, as many of these are not attainable.....still cool. Lust is in the mind anyway!  I'm thinking a 41 Willys Coupe with a BB Chevy and a 671 Blower...2 4's....Pro-Street....maybe some wheelie bars. ....hey, as long as we're dreamin. Enjoyed the read...thanks.

The Harley Davidson should be on this list.  I know it's not a car, but if your first thought was that, I can't explain it to you.

Vector19, the Mustang is derived from the Falcon heck all the Mustang is is a resheetmetaled Falcon. Heck ol Lee himself has said that many many times and he has also said he prefers the 63 1/2 Falcons over the Mustangs.

To the writer of the artical: On the Shelby Cobra you left out the 260 and 428 powerplants.

Actually, this is a BS list because what car  a person lust after is a person's own choice What cars I lust after is not what another might lust after and vice-versa.

I ve  , been happy with what I could afford  , a few  low end corvettes , 71 mach 1 , now a 69 roadrunner, and a couple of camaro convertables, if you know how to get in on the classic  plates and insurance ,its a great hobby , probably will never have any car listed, but happy to be in the game.  Take a kid to a car show keep the  love alive
