At 35 years old, I just purchased the sexy beast in the pic. A 06 Supercharged Saleen. I've had the big trucks, loved them, and my wife is looking for a 65 Mustang. Love the Porsche, but way over priced, and no room for my 5 year old son! I'll keep the Saleen, trading my 08 4Runner in on a Saleen F-150, my wifes 65 (still looking), and my son's Cervini Edition Shelby Power Wheels. Time to pay off the house!

With a bit of diplomatic give and take I'd say I could go with most of these... except the continental. A neat car for sure, and a historical one as mentioned, but surely not one anyone I know lusts after. In my lifetime of being car crazy (40 years) not one person ever mentioned it in conversation as their dream car. Cool for a collection, cool for cruzing, but just not on the same par as the others. Easily could have replaced it with a dozen others. Personally, I was surprised not to see an Aston Martin, on the list. What kid who's seen a James Bond flick of yesteryear, or a modern day Vantage / DB9, etc wouldn't want one? And what about an Audi R8? Just mho...

That pretty much has it covered. My Porsche is parked in front of my office window so I can dream about it at will. My wife seems to understand and is good with it, she has her new home which she has dreamed about for nearly twenty years. Fair trade, that means the Porsche only cost me 1.2 million, the price of the car and the house bribe......
