Well, Steve I don't know what Jeeps you are talking about but I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty with 78,000 miles on it and I Plow my driveway with it and get all over the place in the blizzards and snowstorms.  Maybe it is just the driers that don't want to drive in the bad weather.

Why is it that certain people constantly bash Jeeps they have been around for damn near 70 Years , I have owned and still do  no less than 5 jeeps ranging from 1995 to 2011 some with over 300k on the Odometer, I have driven them  in snow storms blizzards floods you name It I drove it in my Jeeps, and for some of you that a p.o.s Hyundai Santa Fe have made jeep Owners afraid is just a DOWNRIGHT STUPID INSULT THAT I WILL NOT HERE OF  spare me that rhetorical BS.

There's no V8 in Wrangler- it's a 3.6L DOHC Pentastar V6.

The best AWD for snow, is a driver paying attention to the road, and knowing the capabilities of their vehicle.

LMAO!!!! I live in west central minnesota. Most of there cars on this list would get stuck in a half a foot of snow. But the good thing is if they are going sking they dont have to walk to find someone with a "real" 4wd to pull them out with

Get real! If you ever really driven in snow, Utah snow? 2 feet of unplowed. You get high centered in a car, and lets see you chain up with a car, not enough clearance in the wheel wells. Why doesn't someone with REAL experience write these articles instead of someone that has their hand in the back pocket of foreign auto companies.

It's a 6 in the Wrangler. I know it's a simple mistake, just pointing it out.

I don't know, who puts up this survey, but they must be paid to push foreign high priced junk.  I own a 2008 ford Escape All wheel drive, and I would not trade it for any of the ones listed in this article.  Oh Yes, and the new ones list for approx. $22k, and for that kind of money, it is A-1 in my book, and it is MADE IN THE USA!!!!!!!!!!

No, I will not change this, as I do not know of any other way to tell just how I feel.  I am not advertising for no firm, person, or what.  I am a WW2 veteran, and in my day, we told it like it is!!!!!!  If you want to know who I am, look my up on the computer or wherever you want.  That is what is wrong with our economy today.  No one knows the truth anymore, and are made to believe lies on the internet.  If you want to block what I have to say, then do what you must, but I will just discontinue voicing my opinion and know that my right to free speech is no longer possible.

Written by a journalism major instead of a true car  guy.  Why write articles if you don't know what you are talking about?
