"J.D. Power" assured us the Oldsmobile & Saturn were good choices, not too far back! I think they are for sale! It seems as though when ever a car company is about to go under they bring in "J.D. Powers to tell us how good they are ! Pontiac too.....

This article is a good example of typical automotive journalism in the internet age. For one, these cars are no more special edition than some kids civic with 17 inch wheels and APC stickers. Limited paint colors and bolt ons, (including some that are standard on other cars,) do not a special edition make. Not to mention the writing seems to be pretty much copy and paste after a short MSN search of "New Special Edition Cars." Many other MSN automotive writers are fairly competent, but please someone with some car knowledge and education vet the articles before they are published!

The Lexus, Corvette and Cadillac I can understand. They truly are improvements on their originals. The rest are just glorified trim packages. There are plenty of real special editions out there that are actually special, why did you have to use 7 cars with overpriced trim packages and a Veyron? No AMG mercedes? No ZL1 Camaro? How about a Speed 3, it's surely better than that ugly Kia tissue box. Where's the new Focus ST that's due out next month? You promised Special Edition cars that were actually special, not ripoff cars that are labelled special.

Like I said in the other version of this article, I love my 2011 CTS-V Black Diamond Edition. Just like I loved my real Special Editions, my 2 SRT8s (300C and Jeep).

Special edition my A$$. It used to be "limited edition", limited to as many as they could possibly sell. As the author(?) of this piece of trite mentioned, lipstick on a pig. In his defence, maybe he researched for this article using Bing.

You missed the Chrysler 300 SRT8, the Dodge Charger SRT8, Viper and the Challanger SRT8; but you got the Toyota Tundra pickup in there and the Veyron - - you guys are nuts????????????

Wow the fastest $60,000 production car not on the list? The Mustang GT500 will smoke all those cars in that bull$hit list. And those complaing about no Dodges. Theres a reason for that. Dodge makes some cool looking cars but they break down more than Yugo's.

General Motors is conspicuous missing from all thesis lists , with only a few special orders custom models!? Where is J.D. Powers when you need them?
