None of the sports cars can be had at these prices, unless you want one with 150,000+ miles. Totally full of crap as always MSN. Now be prepared to get spam spam every day from car dealers for reading the story.

So many of these cars are on the list of 'Cars to Avoid' also published by MSN.

The Boxster between 1998-2002 was never equipped with a 3.5L engine. Both the S and non S variants of the model were plagued with an intermediate shaft bearing issue that caused engine failure which hardly sounds the horns of what would be considered "reliability". Please do your homework before pretending to be a journalist.

Not finding any of these under $10k. Maybe MSN should recheck their prices.

Great list.....almost. The Volvo XC90 MUST be a 5 cylinder model. The T6 (6 cylinder) has a nearly 100% failure rate on the transmission. And that's a $4500 transmission. The 5 cylinder models are excellent. And the Mini Cooper should be a base model with a stick shift. The S models have head gasket problems and all of the automatic transmission models are prone to expensive failure. Base, stick shift models are outstanding and fun. You are an automotive professional. You know this stuff. Didn't any of this seem important to you?

I FOUND ONE! 1999 Boxster convertible for $9900! Only 108,000 miles on it! Guess the doosh that wrote the article never said what condition it would be in!
