Regarding the GLH-S:

The one pictured is a 1986 Shelby GLHS built by Carroll Shelby in Wittier CA (500 produced).

The following year Shelby produced 1000 of the 1987 Charger GLHS.

Just another bum article by the Idiots at MSN who definitely know little of the fields they write about, mainly the world of the automobile.

If one stops and looks at spec a 6.0 goat it is the faster than all other GTO years. Besides stopping and going through turns better than the 66 67"s. 12.78 with a out tweak come on the 66/67 68/69 and bring your 70 judge to play they don't do what the monaro does the monaro pedigry also a plus Lutz is nutz but if you want to see what gm is keeping from us go to Holden.com and look at the 2012 ute or our  El Camino SS LS 3 and all

What about a '41 Willy's Roadster!?!?!  And NOT the Coupe, dang it... everyone had one of those.  Supposedly there were only 5 of the roadster ever produced.

@ javaman, that Omni you call a turd was a screamer,I saw the Charger verison GLHS smoke a 5.0 L Mustang back when that was the hot car of the day. It was faster then a lot of the so called muscle cars. Shelby had a kit that got it up over 200hp from 135 cid in that light body. That turd would rip the steering wheel out of your hand when you punched it from torque steer if you didn't have a firm grip. I assume you never drove one and your comment is based on the way it looked.
