I'm sick of seeing articles trying to justify our climbing gas prices by looking at what others are paying around the world. I don't care if Europe pays 50 dollars a gallon. We don't pay that much in the U.S. There isn't any good reason why the prices have climbed recently... other than greed. I keep reading the same thing... "We should drill"... The thought gets shot down by people saying "It will take ten years"... so then we forget about drilling.. a year from now we will hear "We should drill". WE NEED TO START DRILLING NOW. Stop putting it off & drill. Reduce the costs. Find a better source of energy for our vehicles while drilling & using OUR own oil.
Big money interests in the form of oil magnates, war profiteers and our paid off politicians have practically sunk this country 100% financially. Every knowledgeable US citizen and foreign nation knows it too. So now there is little or no effort to disguise these deceitful, despicable practices that border on Ponzi schemes. Accordingly, when the USA fails and sinks into oblivion in the near future, these same robber wizards will vanish with all their ill gotten gains to resort playgrounds like the Cayman Islands and others worldwide. It'll be similar to the mass exodus of the top Nazis out of Germany in May 1945. Just wait and see.......
The great thing about a forum like this is at least people will see that we are fed up of being taken advantage of. The worst is yet to come...I say that because it's obvious we will not get relief anytime soon and with the "HURRICAN SEASON" just a few weeks away the "GREEDY" will have even more excuses to put the screws to U.S....

Oh one more thing....for those of you who can afford to purchase the FANTASTICALLY OVER PRICED ALTERNATIVE FUEL CARS MY HAT IS OFF TO YOU But most of us who are still fortunate to work from check to check cant afford them so where will our relief come from? I suppose riding bikes! Not an option when most of us commute over 45 minutes to and from work. We'll just bite down hard on a piece of wood and take it like we have been.
