The real message here is to buy cars older than 3 years and you'll save over 50%.

What this article shows us is the absurd amounts of mark-up there are in the used car business!  Just try buying any of these vehicles for the "percentage-of-new" values which are listed.  "Resale Values", indeed.

Where did North America Fail

We losing our industry

Gone

Auburn      Cord     Durant     Essex     Franklin     LaSalle     Pierce-Arrow     Stutz

Studebaker     Crosley     Nash     Hudson     DeSoto     Packard     Rambler   Metropolitan

Packard    Checker Mercury     Plymouth   Oldsmobile   Pontiac     Hummer    Saturn

TV Manufacturing     Clothing Manufacturing   Electronic Manufacturing Company service help (bell banking most warranty help) there is another 20 car companies not stated here.

Medical equipment Furniture Manufacturing Shoe Manufacturing Toy Manufacturing Tire Manufacturing

The challenge is go to a store and find a product made in North America. Go to any port and see the containers on boats coming into this country. Student can’t get jobs. Unemployment is high. The US and Canada ship less than 8 % to Japan & China. China owns the US debt

Keep buying

Honda, Kia, Toyota, Mazda, Hyundai, Nissan, Subaru

The next thing will be pension both company and government and heath care.

The companies above are importing most of their parts well they stay when the rest close.

Is your job next?

Yet another article that is total MSN BS!! The best resale value in who's opinion and yes it is only a opinion since they are 2011 models. A bunch of 2 doors cars and big dollar cars as well, who buys 2 door vehicles anymore? Are they thinking supply and demand here? MSN must get paid to print BS. I sure love a good laugh and always know where to find it.

Resale value in 3 to 5 years is a moot point. I take care of my cars and keep them for 15 + years. What a nice trade off to only do normal maintenance insytead of new payments every 5 years. Oh . . . and I now pay cash for my cars. My cars (GM) have never broken down on the road.
