How about a list of vehicles the REAL family can afford?

How about you write an article entitled "AFFORDABLE Cars for Moms and Dads with Attitude." Yeah, if you make over $100,000 a year I'm sure these cars are great, but not for the average American. Please, this was a waste of time.

Really??? On the planet that I live on, we can't afford "family" vehicles like the ones they listed here.  Must be nice to live on a journalist's salary to be able to afford a "family" vehicle like these is this day and age. I'm pretty sure the common person's family vehicle doesn't come nowhere NEAR the caliber of these proposed "family" vehicles

I would have included the 300's sibling Charger and the GTI/Mazdaspeed3/Evo/WRX/STi gang of pint size hooligans (for small families, obviously).

The Dodge Magnum was the standard for family haulers. Unfortunately most families didn't accept it. I owned a Magnum R/T and I'm here to tell you it was the baddest **** car!!

Move on folks. Nothing to see here.  All V8 gas guzzlers to keep us in the grasp of foreign oil even though we export over 10% of domestic oil.

Wow! Just what every mom needs. A 500 hp, fire breathing station wagon so she can get the kids to soccer practice, pick up the dry cleaning, get the grocery shopping done and still beat everyone to the mall to be first in line at all the sales. And all while texting her friends and doing 150 mph. Sounds like too much car for even some experienced race drivers.Smile

@Sobefobik

First of all, there would be no point in writing an article with that title that you suggested. Second of all, you have to be making well over $300K just to be able to afford them. And you don't have to have some boring car no matter what you make if you don't mind buying used.

This is December 31, 2011. This article has been here for months. I've read it several times. How hard is it to update your site? Seriously, this is beyond ridiculous, it's insulting. Why can't you do your job and update your article?Angry
