Why not just drive American Cars?
We live in America, we work in America, do we support our economy? (By buying japanese cars)
NO!!!!
It only makes sense to drive American.
If your a real American, you drive an American car.
Mazda with 70k blows its engine, ford with 200+ still strong, plus I'm supporting our own economy.
@ Jay Murph,
I agree, Toyota has become complacent over the last decade. Just trying to ride on a reputation that has been deteriorating over the last decade. It took a crisis and a lot of dead customers before they snapped out of it and decided to try to get things back on track. But that's going to take years to do. I wouldn't touch a Toyota product for at least another 5-10 years after they've had a chance to re-engineer their entire business processes and start producing safe, reliable products again.
I didn't "imply" that the Sienna was impressive, this article did. I agree though, we have one in our fleet and it is loved by all that use it. I didn't realize that Car and Driver was the car Bible, CR gave it high scores and lets face it, we know that Toyota makes very reliable vehicles.
Toyota may have slipped slightly in recent years but you can bet they learned from it and will be right back on top again soon. For every car rating organization out there that gave them a poor grade, there is one that still rates them highly.
Why do you dislike them? Did you have a bad experience?
