It's hard to imagine this car for $10,000 new in 1956! Only 3,000 were made?! The father of a high school buddy had one in turquoise. The Edsel was another disaster--"An Oldsmobile sucking a lemon", as the joke went! Still, the Mk II is one of my favorite classics besides a '35 Auburn Boattail supercharged roadster (seen in "Dick Tracy" and "Seabiscuit")...I'd settle for a replicar with modern running gear.
