It's hard to imagine this car for $10,000 new in 1956!  Only 3,000 were made?!  The father of a high school buddy had one in turquoise.  The Edsel was another disaster--"An Oldsmobile sucking a lemon", as the joke went!   Still, the Mk II is one of my favorite classics besides a '35 Auburn Boattail supercharged roadster  (seen in "Dick Tracy" and "Seabiscuit")...I'd settle for a replicar with modern running gear.

So now the spammers have figured out how to tag spam onto legitimate posts.  Great.  Just great.  I guess there's no escaping them.  Time for a new homepage.  'Bout had it with MSN.

A supercar long before the term was coined.  Sadly, Mr. Tucker was a victim of the gigantic auto industry and "the big three's" political influence. Poor dude never had a chance.

I actually like all of these cars, The Edsel was a fine car and the one in the picture is beautiful. I normally do not like foreign cars but I would love to have an Isetta or a Delorean

Edsel got a bum rap.  Only nickname I remember was "horse collar".  Should have named it the "vagina". Might have sold a lot more.
