Sad Disappointing, Hoped for something just a bit more intelligent. But, with phrases like "more cheaper" & "more fuel better", it should have been expected. You have no clue.

I think that the US autos should go under, so the smaller autos that were made to save fuel will pervail!

I asked myself that same question before, Why can't we have cars like that here. But can you really blame the auto industry? There job is simple, they are going to make what sells. That's there bottom line! You know i'm 49 so i've been driving for quite some time now, and have had a lot of time to notice what other people drive, up till recently not many small cars around, just big & bigger. What happened? The price of gas went wild. Oh, look out! those darn american auto co.'s aren't looking out for our best interest. Guess what, niether are we. When gas was $1.50 per gal. who cared, @ $4.20 we cried havoc for something we willingly bought. They don't make big cars& trucks for the hell of it, for that matter, they can save a lot of material cost's by going smaller. No they build them cause we demand them.

These Autos are more cheaper then we pay, and I lived in the USVI for 10 Years and the Minis and Vws were the only way to go! The US has NO cars that can even get close to other countrys. The car companys in the US BUY the pattants that make autos more fuel better, and never use them.

You sound so snarky and parochial.....saying , "but most cars won't be available to you Yanks". I live in the USA currently but my family of origin and my husband's range from Ukraine, Canada, Mexico and France. Your passive aggressive jealousy ...hidden behind that non humorous oneliner...re: the Americans/the Yanks is tedious and cliche. So many of us who now calls USA home have not a drop of Yankee blood whatever the heck that is. You need fresher material....your humour leaves me feeling/ gives me sense of ennui.

I just turned 54. All my life, I've been seeing these beautiful designs for these wonderful "concept" cars of tomorrow. Ya' know what? Tomorrow was friggin' 20 years ago....Aside from the Aptera, I see NOTHING............NOTHING of what was promised all those years ago.  Quit jackin' around and BUILD A FRIGGIN' VEHICLE OF THE FUTURE ALREADY!!!!!!!! Go retro or something......Jeeez....How 'bout a Nash Metropolitan ( the ORIGINAL small economy car ). There's NO reason we couldn't have some cheap friggin' vehicles over here NOW....YESTERDAY..........like the friggin' tatos or ninos or nanos or whatever the hell those things are in India.....EXCEPT for the GREED of the automakers over here that continue to market the SAME OL' THING year after year......DESPITE what the consumer has been asking for .....for what!???! DECADES?!?!?!?

The name Weismann is wrong, it should be Wiesmann, check it out.  I use to live in Duelmen, not to far from the werkstatt (Company).
