Hmm. No doge Vipers. One of America's finest sports cars with 640 HP right out of the gate. How could they miss that one.

The Scion is woefully underpowered but makes the list?? Also, at least now I know I cannot afford a fast car.

Um, where is the Dodge Viper? It has posted one of the fastest times on that track, ever.

Well remember, when you buy a Dodge, you're buying a Dodge. Probably why they didn't include it

I was also wondering why the Viper and Mustang variants weren't on the list. With that said, although I've never been a big fan of the Corvette and Camaro (too much cheap plastic in them), I am impressed with their cost-to-performance ratio's lately. I'd much rather spend $55K to $80K on any Corvette model than to spend $100K-plus on the so-called exotics. (doesn't mean I won't dream about owning any of them) ;-)

The GT500s melt their brakes at track due to their brakes and 4000 lb weight. The best GT500 ring time I could find was by a modded GT500 for 8:15:00. Ford didnt release the Ring time of the GT500 cause it was not good for a 650 HP car.
More racing than HP: Weight/Suspension/weight distribution/braking/tires....

I'm not sure why they included the Scion on there, but you're all missing the point of that car. It's not supposed to be the fastest thing around the track. It's a small sports car designed for the driver to have the most fun while driving it. Its the most fun you can have in a car for 25k
