Not much of a station wagon in that group. Guess I'll have to hang on to my old 88 Merc Colony Park. Great for trips to the lumber yard and taking out the canoe, not to mention the 1/2 ton of fertilizer three times a year. People keep asking if I want to sell it, NO

We've got 2 Audi A6 quattros.  They might not qualify as "power wagons" for this list, but they have get up and go, drive well in snow, and were way more affordable than the corresponding Subaru outbacks.  Those things are getting way overrated.

There is no such thing as a "cool" wagon. These "things" and SUV's use more gas than a sedan. So much for energy independence. I've observed that on the road or highway, rush hour or not, the majority of these vehicles have no passengers.
What's that tell you?

Coolest wagon is like the coolest pocket protector.
