Cruisin' Down Woodward: Part One
The day's first glimpses of some amazing sheet metal

I lived in Detroit in '70 and '71 and cruised Woodward every Friday and Saturday night looking for a "run" in my '68 Roadrunner. I had the time of my life and met a lot of nice people. Now I drive from Rochester, NY annually to attend this event. This is the greatest cruise I've ever seen. You really get to understand why Detroit is called the Motor City. Although the "official" cruise is only one day, the area muscle cars start exercising their muscles many days in advance, and continue a few days after. If you know where to go you'll get the "before party" and the "after party".
Kudos to the sponsors, the people of Detroit and surrounding areas for their support, and to all those that make this such an amazing event. Let's cruise Woodward forever.
