They don't give us any specifications about the vehicle so I'm unsure if it qualifies as a "Light Sport Aircraft" which only costs about $5,000-$7,000 to aquire a pilot's certification for. Otherwise you're looking at $10,000-$14,000 for a private pilot certification.
Why would you want to drive this down the street anyway? You still have to drive to an airport or find a good long stretch of straight road with no traffic whatsoever to take off or land. If you used this as your daily driver, you're increasing the chance of in-air mechanical failure when you do take it off the ground.
