While no list is ever going to be perfect, I'm really surprised they left out the Nissan 300ZX. That bodystyle still looks modern 20+ years later and the twin turbo engine was amazing. Also notice almost no cars built later than '95 are on this list.

I can't believe the car that started the whole "fast & furious" pocket rocket craze is not on the list!

The 300 twin turbo Z (1990)!!

The 93 Mustang Cobra should definately be included for it's historical value.  Ford's decision to reinstate the Cobra on the Mustang also forced Chevy to bring back the SS Camero.

How does a Hyundai make the list, and they leave out the Mitsubishi Eclipse/Eagle Talon, the fastest 4 cylinder and fastest AWD car to date http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_fastest_4_cylinder_car

this list blows!

I looked this guy Evan up and he is an import tuner writer. That explains why all the imports. He writes what he knows about, imports. One has to consider source.

No mini-van? Glaring omission is the Dodge Caravan/ Plymouth Voyager. Those were all the craze in the 90's.

The viper engine was never the same as the V10 Ram engine. Stop spreading false information. This rumor needs to be killed.  The viper v10 shared nothing with the ram v10.  cams are shorter, balance is different, and the accessories are located in different spots, the blocks are sleeved different (aluminum vs. cast iron also)and the intakes are different. The rods are 100+ grams heavier per rod. Absolutely no common parts. The ram v10 has Lower compression. Heavier reciprocating mass. Redline, HP peak, and TQ peak are all at least 1,000 rpm lower.  Please retract your statement: "V10 engine that was a truck design cleverly recast in aluminum for the Viper."  As this was an extremely oversimplification of the truth.  The ram v10 puts out ~305hp and 440lb/ft whereas the viper v10 puts out ~400hp and 465lb/ft.   Different engine. Different r&d.  Absolutely the only thing these 2 have in common is brand, and number of cylinders.
