The Smart car? It's a piece of crap.  Toyota Camry had more recalls than any other car sold in America.  Flawed report.

To those saying Ford took Bail-Out Money I Googled and Binged to see if true as I had never heard this before.  Found an article from the NY Times saying otherwise and called it a smart move by Ford.

Ford borrowed money from banks just like average everyday Joe-blows do "NO FREE HANDOUTS OR SPEACIAL TREATMENT," but had the collateral to back their request and is not/was not Tax Payers Money or Bail-Out Money, major difference.

I often wonder how many dollars spent in bribery to say that Honda and Toyota are great cars. Had two Honda's . amazing junks ! both bought new.

I'll have to disagree with the Honda CR-V being on this list. Although it's comfortable and somewhat fuel efficient, the gas tank is extremely small and because of the design in the rear of the car, it creates way too many blind spots. I feel trapped when driving it and even more so when trying to change lanes.

I'm a average American car does Porsche even even matter to me? Such a mis-and hit article and if J.D. Powers is mentioned...people in my area of the country avoit the indorsment.

This is a BS report, the Ford Fusion and Focus, have been very highly rated on par with or better than the Honda and Toyota counterparts.  The Taurus also has had very good reports.  For some reason Ford has been overlooked by JD Powers.  Also, remember Ford didn't take any of our money from Obama.

Note to JD Power.  Employees should be SOBER when doing these studies....just sayin'

You can't tell me Ford nor Volvo would not have made the cut ...obviously "JD" is a big GM fan ...I personally owned some GM products in the past ...thats why my wife and I have driven FORDS and VOLVO ever since ...we just like vehicles we can depend on can keep your "BAILOUT" GM garb

who was smoking what when the Chevy Impala was voted the best top large car.  I own one of these POS.  At 54K the tranny is slipping and no one can figure out why (no codes or lights come up)  Recently had to drop 1K on new front suspension and bearings and tires.  All I do is hwy travel for my job.  Been loyal to GM since I could drive now no longer (this is not the first issue i have had with there quality but it is darnwell the last)
