Why the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van is the coolest thing on four wheels.
MSN AUTOS VIDEO
I have an employee that has a 'fart can' exhaust on his car. Everyone laughs at the 'angry bumblebee' as we all call his car (and at him for having a 'need' to do something like that). Naturally it has NO power (he lost a race of 100 feet to a guy running in work boots!) and the windows are tinted so dark that he gets ticketed for that each time he gets pulled over for the noise. But he won't change it. It makes him happy.
But here's my take on it all: Do whatever you want to YOUR vehicle as long as it doesn't interfere with MY rights. If your car is so loud it disturbs things, you are violating everyone else's rights.
If you do ANYTHING to show how cool you are, you just showed that you aren't! If I can hear your stereo from a block away, it tells me you are trying to use your vehicle to get attention because you, yourself, don't qualify. Same with the exhaust, etc. Again, do whatever you want with your vehicle. But understand the 'statement' you are really making.
