Despite this article, the roads and car lots are FILLED with the shades between black and white - black, dark grey, light grey, silver, white.... Then the car companies justify it by saying that is what people buy. Thanks to Joseph Heller for defining Catch-22 for us!
Wow - MSN ran this EXACT SAME story a few weeks ago. I commented here, and corrected several of their mistakes (like the "Grabber Blue Boss 302" is actually NOT a Boss 302).
You would think they would correct their mistakes the second time around -- but NO! All the same mistakes are still there!
Where are your journalism ethics, MSN? Where is your journalism integrety?
Do you always intentionally perpetuate UNTRUTH in your news articles, or is it just this time?
I own a "Grabber Orange" 2009 Mustang GT Premium -- "Loud and Proud", just as the article states. However, I want to clear up a false statement in the article -- "Grabber Orange" is a RETRO color. Very much like "Petty Blue", "Grabber Orange" was invented by a race car driver (Parnelli Jones) in 1970. He first put it on his 1970 Mustang Boss 302 -- and I am PROUD to have that color on my car today.
By the way -- I'm the OPPOSITE of the statement "as car owners get older, they buy more subdued colors". My car colors (in chronological order) are: White, Blue, Brown, White, Red, Grabber Orange. I'm currently 43 years old.
Finally, I would like to point out that the "Grabber Blue Boss" in this article is actually a "Grabber Blue Mustang 5.0" -- NOT A BOSS. And, how does anyone equate a color called "Grabber Blue" with "pastel"? Seriously?!
