if you want to see where and when cars were painted in crazy, attention getting colors, look back to the 60's. chrysler corporation cars were available in slime green, hemi orange and a plethora of other colors. i have a 66 plymouth which is painted 'light mauve metallic' and it gets a lot of attention at car shows. the 426 hemi makes it quite the sleeper!
