At least half the population in my city cannot drive decently. They're always too busy barking on their stupid cell phones or turning around in their seats to yell at their out of control kids. I would block any project to build a flying car. It cannot work because people are stupid. We have enough problems with drunk driving and road rage. Put those two problems behind the wheel of a FLYING car and you have a guaranteed disaster every single day. Also, let's not forget how the heck do the police pull over a speeding flying car? What if the moron crashes into a house? Or a skyscraper? Remember 9/11 anyone?

"Oh, this will never work" "People wont know how to use this thing!" Hmmm the same things were said about the horseless carriage and now the automobile is one of the most wildly used forms of transportation, do not let fears and self loathes hinder the dreams and aspirations of these who always look to the future, without the process of invention we will still be drinking muddy water and dying at the ripe old age of 40. People will always have doubts, but dreamers only see challenges.
God Bless

This nonsense was written by someone who has no knowledge of history. The "flying car" was already in the Popular Science and Popular Mechanics magazines in the 1930's. It was tied to the early "autogyros" and other early helicopters. It was tried then, but held up by WW II. The early geeks did not know they were geeks, but they were as inventive and imaginative as today's computer-bound designers and engineers.
