So with all the dams being torn down by environmentalist and wind power not very good or practical all over the country how are we going to charge all these batteries? How long till it will cost $500.00 a month to turn on a light? Our lovely planet earth will just love all those billions of batteries disposed off all over her! Real environmental nuckleheads. Just a bunch of hypocrites after money and control of people without any care for the environement.

I'm holding out for steam power! Battery cars have been a joke for over 100 years and are still impractical for anything but a golf course. But that won't stop the manufacturers who would like to cash in on the "green" wave of people who need to feel they are helping the Earth, when in actuality battery cars are destined for a short expensive life span with poor performance. Diesels are the answer to todays transportation needs.

Stop calling these cars "Green". Do you people realize that the batteries these cars and the hybrids come with are not a green solution? Yes, they save you gas but they just created a different problem with what we are going to do with these batteries. These batteries are like trying to get rid of a nuclear waste. Call these cars gas savers but "Green" is a joke.
