Ford will add buttons, knobs to its much-maligned MyFord Touch system.
I can't believe I'm going to say this, but it looks more like a Camaro than a Corvette, especially from the rear. It doesn't look classy, or up scale. The interior looks like it should be in a carnival with a bunch of clowns. I've owned two vettes in my life, and think this could be the biggest
dissapointment, appearence wise, in a long time.
I've owned a '73, 76, and currently an '05. I must say those classics are the best looking and the most fun to drive. I like my C6, but it had to grow on me. I like the C7, but the rear is too Camaro-like. Round tail lights are synonomous with a 'Vette! I'm glad they wised up and brought back the Stingray name after 38 years!! ALL 'Vettes should be Stingers!!!
I like the fact that they're calling it the "Stingray" once again. The name has always been befitting for the "Corvette".
The "Pros" and "Cons" that I see is that it's a "Hot" looking car and shouldn't have any problems selling. The liter weight means more speed and better "MPG".
The "Cons" , in my opinion are the square looking tail lights. I thing it would loo even better if had a more rounder shaped tail lite similar to the original "Stingray".
Also, it would look more intimidating if it had of been designed with the shark gill louvers that the original "Stingray" sported.
Plus, it looks like it may have a few critical blind spots in the back. Unless Chevrolet will install the latest technology in the "Stingray" to warn the driver of other vehicles in it's blind spots so not to cause an accident,
These just a few of the things I see of the "Stingray", but the real way to find out just how good the car looks and feels, I will have to my local Chevrolet dealer and test drive one.
Maybe I will trade in my BMW for one.
