I love the new Stingray, bringing that name back alone is good enough for me. Looks just like its supposed to, just like all the others in its class with the distinctive Corvette touches. And yes, to all the snobs, its class includes Ferrari.

Looks like they gave a kindergarten class a basket of markers and said.  "Draw a fast car."  :(

It's a copy of a Dodge Viper. GM's design department really suck. Putting an iconic name (Malibu, Impala and even Corvette) on a turd doesn't make it any less a turd. GM is such an elitist group that they can't get past their own shortcomings. They never listen to their customers and those that remain as customers are shown little respect. Pretty soon GM will get the idea of making a small "economy" model and call it the Corvair. Hey now there is a concept.

Front end looks like an Aston....Not!  Front looks like Lightening McQueen.  Back looks like a Camaro.  I like the gills and the resurrection of the name but...that's about it.

If GM would duplicate a '67 with today's up grades, they couldn't build them fast enough!!!!!

It's a Corvette, most definitely.  It has moved away from the weight of the past, which was holding it back.  Now it can go forward, further into the future and may spawn other "Corvettes" that can be built alongside this one or others in the near future.  A four seat Corvette, a mid-engine Corvette, a shorter lighter version - open your eyes and imaginations for this proud American product.

I have a 1976 and a 2008 convertible. And to me this a step forward for the corvette!! to all the haters you will complain no matter what they built. When the C6 came oh it looks to foreign the interior was cheap.Really no matter what they built the haters will hate. Camaro rear end cmon are u blind the ZR1

corvette had square tail lights

I doubt that anyone commenting has seen the car in person. With the value that the Corvette has to GM's tech and performance appeal I would be willing to bet that this car is impressive in person. As for the black wheels I am certain that there are other wheel options available at release in the fall.

Just when you think Corvette couldn't get any cheesier, it does. Looks like a Japanese car now. How original.

Suddenly the C6 styling looks kind of lackluster. I'd take a C7 in gun metal gray

Sweet....... maybe utilize more race derived controls, buttons and switches in the interior design. Make me feel like I`m in a world class sports car, this is where Corvette DNA comes from......... racing!

Being a Vette owner and having two prior, I have to say I am very disapointed

Two Thumbs Down. Horrible Idea on the Rear of the Car, Camaro like. and front end also very disappointing. I will save my money and maybe look at buying a Cobra Jet. And I hate Ford.

Interesting design but those stupid black wheels make it look like an ugly pair of sneakers

Come on !   Its a Vette, and you know a load of people griped about the C-6 also.  The truth of it is, give it a little time.  I am very happy with my Z-06, but show me a C-7 dressed in Yellow.  I like it a lot.  I sure agree with some of the faults in the back, but It will make it big time!!   C-7 is welcome to take it place in my Vette history book.

Well i like it even more now that i have seen more pictures, as for the pop up headlights they took those out for aerodynamics to compete in speed with the Italian jobs. if you look they lost the pop ups about the same time . and those calling it a camaro hmm what to say , if you have watched the evolution i think some cues for the camaro came from the Vet concept cars, they were due to square off the car some nobody wants a barbie vet and this is no barbie vet, keep it up GM

looks like various design features that went into ferraris over the last ten years went into this one. Interior looks cheap, cheap looking push-button knobs you'd find on a Chevette.

Come on, you guys can do better than this.
