If I didn't know any better a person living on the moon put together the cars that defne summer,
What are you stuck on 55 and 57 T-birds? What happened to the Vettes ? Ac Shelby Cobras? 55 and 57 Rag Top Chevys, My grandmother could have picked better cars and she has been dead for 30 years.
Yeah, they built beautiful cars back then. I'm 38 yrs old. I remember in high school I thought about bringing back the older classic style cars with new technology. Specifically the '34 Ford, 50's Merc, Mustang, Camaro, and other muscle cars. I thought that it would be a no brainer seeing as how classic cars are worth so much as collectibles and loved by owners more than ever that the new versions would be easy sales. Sure enough, car companies started doing just that. They sell like hotcakes. I still don't get the PT Cruiser though, ugh. Terrible car. It could have been so much more.
Unfortunately, I don't think car companies are even capable of the kind of craftsmanship or quality that the classics entail. I had 2 Chevy trucks, a '76 and an '80. Best trucks I've ever owned. Simple, cheap, ran forever. Now try to buy one under $30,000, lol. Shame.
