This article really misses the point of it's own subject. Height, and Size of passenger and driver. The car commercial that features Shaq inside the car won't show how the heck he got in there.... LOL If you want a car that fits tall people, give serious consideration to the FORD FLEX. @ 6'6" tall and well let's just say over 50 years old, it perfectly fits my other half. It's stylish, and gets better than expected gas mileage for a vehicle of it's size. The Front seats feel more like the recliner in your living room, and the 2nd row back seats are great for Mom or taller folks without having to climb up and over anything to get inside. Top stitched leather, Awesome Sony sound system, Dual Climate Controls, with Color changing interior led's and more bells and whistles than you can use in a week of driving it.
Try the FORD FLEX. I'd sell a million of e'm to the defensive line Football players if they weren't trying to squeeze into a Porche, Vette, Escelade, Or Lexus, even Mercedes trying to show off versus fit and function.

I am very impressed with the backseat in the Equinox. It's nice and high up off the floor with a deep enough cushion. Don't know how reliable they are though...

I CANNOT BELIEVE how many expensive SUV's have uncomfortable down on the floor, knees in the air, hard cushion back seats.. only meant for children with tiny legs... for instance... the Lexus RX SUV... what a joke of a back seat!!! Even the Volvo SUVs... what's the excuse?

Equinox is a decent car, I'm 6'4" and have no problems at all.

My 6'6" son has a great fit with the Chevy Impala with the bucket seats. He has both head and leg room. Many cars or SUV's have one but not the other. This is an affordable option and is a comfortable sedan. I highly recommend it. It may not have the "cool" factor but it is practical and affordable and has many safety features which was especially attractive when I was buying a car for a teen driver.

My height is 6' 2" . When I sit inside a Corvette my line of sight is directly into the top of the sun visor. This is with the seat all the way down and back.  The vet would be absolutely on my buy list if I could fit. The person who included the vet as a vehicle made for "big and tall" most likely never sat in a Corvette.

I am 6' and my Husband is 6'5" and I know it is the dreaded Minivan but the Toyota Sienna is awesome! We had a Dodge Caravan (he is a musician and fitting the equipment in was important to us) for years but once we had kids forget it, with the car seats in there the front seats had to be shoved forward so our noses were practically touching the windshield. We got the Sienna because all three rows of seat are adjustable so now we still fit even as our kids grow to match our height we are all comfy, I highly recommend it. I also think they need to start working on the space in the back seats of sedans because I know both my kids will easily surpass the 6' mark and I remember being squished in the back seat all my life.

it says "cars for big and tall", when did an Escalade, Ram, Explorer and Equnox become "cars"? Those are Trucks and SUV, of course those are going to have more room. Also, i am 6'-6" 300+ pounds and i have sat in some of those cars and i did not fit, so i would love to know what this writers version of "Big and Tall" are, 6'-0" is not tall to me.

I drive a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer and it is perfect for me.

This article is a joke.  Listing vehicles with less than 41 inches of front seat leg room as adequate for a tall driver?  The author either is 5'8", or has never bothered to actually sit in any of the vehicles mentioned.  Want a real, practical vehicle for a taller driver?  I opted for a 2008 Subaru Forester, very comfortable.  My wife's 2008 Kia Optima is also very roomy, it even has decent back seat room for my 2 younger sons who are 6'3" and 6'5".

Corvette, what kind of drug was the writer of this article on.  As a passenger, my son who is 6'5" could not sit in my Vette so I'm pretty sure he couldn't drive it either.  My son drives a Nissan Altima which he sits in comfortbly.  Sounds to me that this writer just went through the specs of all cars and listed the ones he felt would qualify.
