The Ford Focus blows compared to the Chevrolet Cruze. Cruze gets better gas mileage, has more standard features, a better safety rating, bigger trunk and bigger gas tank. Not sure why everyone talks about the Focus hatchback this is 2013 hatchbacks have been dead since the 90s. All that cargo capacity they talk about is total bull. Thats how much area you have if you put the seats down and pack it to the ceiling which keeps you from seeing out of the back and will allow stuff to fall into the front seat when the driver hits the brakes.

What a pathetic, and meaningless, article. How this magazine 'stays in business' is beyond me! No credibility whatsoever. None. It is almost like they wrote the names of ALL cars on pieces of paper, put ALL of the names in a box, and simply drew ten (10) names out of the box, and then said, "OK, we will just contend that these 10 are "The Best"". Is there anyone out there who would put these 10 cars in their driveway, and then call everyone that they knew, and invite them to come over to their house and see The Ten Best Cars?!?!? I think not.

It's the dorky looking Accord again. What happened to the new Altima? The 2013 Altima gets better mileage - 38 mpg highway.. The Altima interior is much richer looking and the dashboard controls are simpler, less cluttered, and more functional. The Altima blind spot warning system works on the left and right sides, while the Honda's only works on the right (I guess Honda drivers never merge into the left lane). The Altima's zero gravity seats are much more comfortable. The standard electronic understeer correction system which brakes the inside wheels, and turns the rear wheels in the direction of the turn, is very innovative. The Altima rides is much better, not choppy like Consumer Reports found on the Honda. The rearview camera comes with an automatic washer that cleans it periodically while Honda expects you to clean their camera yourself.. Even the tire filling feature that beeps the horn when you add air so you don't need a gauge, is another example of Altima innovation. Somehow The guys at C& D were asleep at helm on this one.
