Spotted: 2015 Lincoln Navigator

The big 3-row SUV returns for the modern world.

By Clifford Atiyeh Jan 22, 2014 10:48AM
While walking around the Washington Auto Show this afternoon, we spotted the next Lincoln Navigator, partially uncovered. Naturally, we had to snap a photo before its official unveiling. It's the first redesign for the big Lincoln in nearly eight years, and just in time for the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, which -- not counting the Buick Enclave -- is still the top-selling 3-row luxury SUV.

What do you think?

Butt Ugly,

No wonder Lincoln's share of the luxury car market is almost nil! After gazing upon the hideous 'cheese grater' snout on Lincoln's latest ocean-going barge I'm not sure I even want to see the rest of the car. Ford is one of the largest auto manufacturers in the world. If their auto gurus can't afford some better car designers than what their Lincoln Group has come up with, then they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Should anyone ever want to be caught dead in a car....they would be far better off in an old hearse. Peace to all ~

So, the Escalade is "still" the top-selling 3-row luxury SUV, IF you don't count the ACTUAL top-selling 3-row luxury SUV (Enclave)... WTH is that??  Just say the Escalade still outsells the Navigator!!

I don't think it looks bad but it's hard to tell without seeing it in it's entirety. The Navigator was an ugly SUV, hopefully this one will be much nicer looking.
To those raving about the Escalade, according to JD Power, only the Navigator matched Toyota for quality and reliability last year, the GM did not even get close so if pretty, and stylish is more important to you than $$$, then yes, the Escalade is much better.

Am no fan of the NAV but I think this time Lincoln they have something to have a pice of the pie

Am I the only one that thinks it looks pretty? It's angular and well-defined, but still compliments the rest of the Lincoln line-up stylistically.

Large luxury SUVs are all about getting your attention.  Whether you like what you see in the pic or not, there is no denying it is "Large and In Charge" and in your face, which is EXACTLY the point of these vehicles.
