Introducing Motor Trend on MSN
Bringing two big names together to create one impressive automotive destination.
There are plenty of sites on the Web to help you with automotive research and car buying. There are just as many that appeal to your need for the latest automotive news and cool stories. Soon there will be an all-new site that does both, by taking the best research tools and features and combining them with the best automotive content on the Web.
To do this, MSN Autos has partnered with Motor Trend to create an all-new, immersive online automotive experience that will significantly change the way people look at, talk about and shop for cars – all in one place. Motor Trend content has always been popular on MSN Autos — almost 2 million people read last year’s Motor Trend Car of the Year story alone — so we’re very excited that Motor Trend Web content will be exclusively available on MSN. For 65 years, Motor Trend has set the standard for unbiased, entertaining automotive journalism of the highest quality.
The new site will be called Motor Trend on MSN and will replace the current offerings from MSN Autos and MotorTrend.com. Launching in early 2014, this partnership will pair Motor Trend’s industry-leading expertise with MSN’s massive scale. The result: a powerful, trusted and entertaining autos resource designed to appeal to the automotive shopper as well as the automotive enthusiast.
So what does this mean to you? When the site launches in January, you’ll experience an all-new vehicle buyer’s guide that will blend useful research tools, rich photography, original video, up-to-date pricing and data, as well as the latest test drives, comparison tests and more from the experts at Motor Trend.
In addition to research information, Motor Trend on MSN will feature the latest automotive news, feature stories on the newest cars, and full coverage of all major auto shows. The new site will also be the home for Motor Trend’s annual Car, Truck and SUV of the Year awards. Expect to find plenty of feature articles and videos that are both entertaining and informative.
The site will also showcase new social features that will analyze millions of search and social signals to surface trending auto topics and allow for immediate sharing, complementing Motor Trend’s existing social media channels.
And with the latest in Microsoft technology, the entire new site will be seen through an unbeatable experience that’s sleek, fast, and optimized for every screen — be it desktop, tablet or mobile.
For years MSN Autos has been one of the Web’s top destinations for helping people research, shop and buy vehicles. As MSN Autos’ managing editor, I’m excited about partnering with Motor Trend to make MSN an even more powerful, informative and entertaining resource for all things automotive.

Use the COMBINED EPA ESTIMATES as the data base when selecting "Fuel Economy" criteria.
Using highway estimates as you do now, is misleading and not realistic.
