President Obama's Old 300C: $1M on eBay

Private seller lists Chrysler luxury sedan leased by then-Senator from Illinois.

By Joshua Condon Jan 26, 2012 12:22PM
Image by MSN Autos.Attention: if you want to buy the Hemi-powered 2005 Chrysler 300C that now-President Obama drove when he was then-Senator Obama, of Illinois, a private seller has the vehicle listed on eBay -- for a cool million bucks.

The seller claims to have all the necessary paperwork showing that Obama did, in fact, lease the car, and put 19,000 miles on it before switching to a Ford Escape Hybrid in 2008.

Check out the eBay listing here.

At least President (Barry Serento) (his real name before he took on a Muslim name) aka Barak H. Obama had some very wise choice of cars. Thats about all I can muster up good to say about our short termed president.

Dear Brokenbat    You need to check the mpg of the 300 Chrysler and compare it to any SUV. If you look at how many people own SUV's, you'll not condemn him for having a car. You may even own an SUV yourself. The other point is when did he condemn SUV's?

The article is about the car that President Obama leased when he was a Senator. Can we focus on the story (whether you think the ebay sale price is too high or ok etc) without the vitriol towards President Obama? I mean...chill out folks.

Figures.  Obama chose a high performance V-8.  He will still be driving one out of his multi-car stable when most of us are forced to plug in our Power Wheels, walk, ride a bicycle, or use public transportation.

You guys do realize that your negative comments about Obama means the IRS is going to be auditing you this year, don't you?  And that school you were trying to get your kid into?  Not going to happen.  Oh, and your credit scores are going to plunge and all your creditors will close your accounts.  That'll teach you to criticize thin skinned Barry.  It's very clear they have developed an enemies list in this White House.  Chicagoland politics at its worst.
