If you're a Russian oligarch, Republican presidential candidate or the pope, you're probably already fairly familiar with bulletproof vehicles. (Also: welcome!) The rest of us, however, might find some interesting and useful trivia about the reinforced rides thanks to this clever infographic, "The Tech Behind Armored Vehicles for the VIP" created by 21st Century Auto Insurance, which was kind enough to let us republish the piece in its entirety. Everything from the gas mileage for President Barack Obama's heavily modified limo known as "the Beast" -- it gets a mere 8 mpg -- to the make and model of the first fortified Popemobile, in 1930, to the cost of outfitting your own ride with aftermarket bullet- and bomb-proofing equipment is included. Check it out, below.
