Yesterday we pointed you to Motor Trend's extremely detailed and involved process to pick the 2012 Best Driver's Car. (For those who need a refresher, the Porsche 911 Carrera S beat out the Lamborghini Aventador, Jaguar XKR-S, Ford Shelby GT500, Chevy Camaro ZL1, McLaren MP4-12C, Subaru BRZ, Nissan GT-R and Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG Black Edition for the top spot.)

Let's check the math: Nine incredible pieces of machinery -- everything from a fantastically nimble 200-horsepower rear-wheel-drive Subaru to a fire-breathing all-wheel-drive Aventador with 691 horsepower -- totaling 68 cylinders, 4,730 horsepower, 4,037 lb-ft of torque and more than $1.3 million worth of sheet metal.

I know what you're thinking: Please, please tell me they brought all those cars to an abandoned airstrip and had a drag race.

The mustang which costs about 25% of the cars it was racing against finished in 4th with an E.T. of 11.01 at 125 mph that is incredible for the price tag!
