Cadillac Celebrates 110 Years With Luxury Photo Book
By Jake Lingeman

Cadillac is celebrating its 110th birthday this month. To mark the occasion they have produced a book called Cadillac, dedicated to the history of the luxury marque.
A limited run of just 500 copies of Cadillac will be produced, each costing $395. The book will feature 150 pages of images and will come in a black slipcase with a metallic Cadillac plaque. A non-limited edition hard-cover version will also be printed and retail for $75. According to GM, the photos in the book depict the brand's milestone cars along with the people who drove them. The book will be available in time for the holiday season.
The book will be published by Assouline Publishing, which has produced more than 1,000 titles on topics such as fashion, photography, art and design.
Now, some will say Cadillac's birthday is Aug. 22, when Henry Ford first met Henry Leland. But the actual date of the founding of the Cadillac Automobile Co. is Aug. 27, 1902. The first Cadillac was finished in October 1902, while the company began full production in March 1903.
