Mark your calendars, BMW fans: This Friday, Oct. 14, BMW's new  F30 3 Series will be revealed via a live streaming event on the manufacturer's Facebook page.

The new 3 Series -- not-so-disguised images of which you may have found on the Internet before now -- will go into production before the year is out. What we do know: The base engine will be BMW's new turbocharged 2.0-liter, and gearbox choices will include the 6-speed manual found on the current version or an 8-speed automatic from ZF.

The reveal takes place at 4:00 p.m. at the BMW factory in Munich, Germany; that means you can see the new sedan stateside at 10:00 a.m. EDT/7:00 a.m. PDT.
