Lamborghini LP 700-4 Aventador Build Passes 1,000
By David Arnouts
On July 19, Lamborghini built the 1,000th Aventador. It was delivered to buyer Hans Scheidecker, a German architect and multicar owner. His other Lamborghini is a Diablo.
It took the Sant'Agata Bolognese plant just one year and three months from the start of production to hit the four-digit mark. The previous flagship model, the Murciélago, took more than two years to reach that milestone.
The next 18 months of Aventador production is already spoken for, so the next available slot will be near the 2,000 production mark at current build rates.
