Images of (Modified) Production Toyota FT-86 Leaked Online
Accessories brochure for automaker's in-house customization shop show FT-86 ahead of Tokyo.
The production version of the much-hyped Toyota FT-86 concept car is expected to bow at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show, but yesterday, leaked pictures from an aftermarket accessories brochure seem to depict that very same car ahead of its official unveiling, albeit one sporting modifications from Toyota's in-house customization company, Modellista.
The FT-86 will go on sale with a Toyota badge in Japan and as a Scion and a Subaru variant called the BRZ in the U.S. According to carscoop, which broke the leaked images, this FT-86 sports an aero package, so the front spoiler, two-piece rear apron, bulked-up side skirts and alloy wheels you see here will not come stock. Likewise, it's hard to tell which parts of the interior are aftermarket and which will come with the off-the-lot model -- especially considering we've never seen the interior of any of the FT-86 concepts.
A comparo shot of the concept and the leaked image, plus the interior spread after the jump; a couple more images are available at carscoop.

Ta-dah! The new Subaru Celica! Sure to become the favorite of all the brain-dead Snookies in this world.
Or is it the new Toyota Impreza? Either way, it looks like a 10 year old Hyundai Tiburon.
.......this platform has potential.
Annatar, I'm with you in that Subaru is more likely to extract the most potential from this. Toyota certainly won't. They'll stick to cheap (and that doesn't necessarily mean inexpensive....just CHEAP), boring appliances.Ta-dah! The new Subaru Celica! I have another problem with it. The use of the 86. The AE-86 is a legendary car,
I agree, and the first time I heard the name I was annoyed by this fact.
Looks at least somewhat promising, defiantly the best looking thing to come out of Toyota other than perhaps the MR2 Spyder
This one needs some more "definitely/at least/somewhat/other than/perhaps" in his sentences.EXPLORE NEW CARS
