14 finds in the MythBuster's garage (from Popular Mechanics)

By Joshua Condon Aug 31, 2009 2:25PM

Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, hosts of the Discovery Channel's smash show MythBusters, are true DIY guys. They have insatiable curiosity, tons of tools and lots of know-how. So who better to give Popular Mechanics a run-down of the

essential tools in their garage?

And that’s exactly what they did, listing 14 can’t-do-without staples ranging from the expected (chain lube – no surprise there) to the re-purposed (plumber’s epoxy, which is good for plugging a variety of holes) to the outright strange (baby bottle nipples… wait, what?).

Any strange tools you can’t live without in your own garage?
