TXTBlocker helps keep hands on the wheel
TXTBlocker is a neat new piece of tech that uses GPS technology and geographic algorithms to track velocity and location (to recognize when a person is driving) and disables a number of phone functions when the user is behind the wheel. "Safe" numbers, functions and locations can be programmed online -- for example, emergency services can always be called; designated users, like parents, can always get through; and physical areas, such as around a school, are also free from restrictions -- once an account is set up.
The initial setup fee is $24.99, and runs about 10 bucks per month (you can check online here to see if your phone is compatible).
