F-150 was October's best-selling vehicle
The Detroit Free Press has a list of Autodata's 20 top-selling cars in October, and it has a few surprises. For one, domestic pickups take the top two spots (despite the Toyota Camry sedan being the nation's overall best-selling vehicle) with the Ford F-Series (Raptor version pictured) and the Chevy Silverado taking slots one and two, respectively.
Well-known buyer favorites like the Toyota Prius (No. 10) and Camry (No. 3) still made the list, as did newer models like the Chevrolet Traverse.
Overall, domestics took half of the 20 spots. Ford, Toyota and Chevrolet tied for the most vehicles on the list, with four apiece. Honda had the next-most, with three.
