What's Happening in the Land of the Rising Sun
The Tokyo Motor Show is in full swing. Here are just a few of the highlights.
The Tokyo Motor Show has a reputation for out-there innovations and wacky, attention-grabbing automotive concepts. And while the 2009 show took a hit in terms of manufacturer attendance (GM, Ford, Chrysler and Hyundai, among others, skipped this year's festivities), the sobering economic climate and pared-down schedule may have a silver lining: Some notable, real-world car launches and news are grabbing headlines. You can find full coverage of the event, which officially runs Oct. 23 through Nov. 4, on MSN Auto's Tokyo Motor Show page. For now, here's a quick recap of the news coming out of Edo:
- Toyota Unveils Sports Coupe
- Latest Honda CR-V Concept Revealed
- Mitsubishi Goes Electric
- Lexus LF-A Debuts (pictured, above)
