The Tokyo Motor Show is in full swing. Here are just a few of the highlights.

The Tokyo Motor Show has a reputation for out-there innovations and wacky, attention-grabbing automotive concepts. And while the 2009 show took a hit in terms of manufacturer attendance (GM, Ford, Chrysler and Hyundai, among others, skipped this year's festivities), the sobering economic climate and pared-down schedule may have a silver lining: Some notable, real-world car launches and news are grabbing headlines.
