Ford Brings the Bling to SEMA
By Greg Migliore

The Blue Oval is rolling out the bling next month for SEMA in Las Vegas, and a stable of tuner Mustangs will be joined by customized Taurus SHOs, eye-catching Lincolns and tuner-takes on nearly all of the company's lineup.
The Mustangs, one of the most customized cars in the country, will be backed by a cadre of the rest of Ford's offerings, including a mob-styled Taurus SHO, a turbocharged Fusion, low-rider Flex, youth-oriented Transit Connect and an Edge wearing British-styled racing livery. Also look for interesting takes on the Lincoln MKS and flashy F-150s.
"SEMA is very important to Ford," the company's racing boss Brian Wolfe said. "Ford has always been about hot rods, passion, racing."
The Ford stand will be crowded--here's an early look at the highlights:
The Mustang by Galpin Autosports gets a one-of-a-kind wide body and supercharged Ford Racing motor that makes 550 hp.
The Mustang by Street Scene Equipment is likely one of the most head-turning. It has racing styling and big wheels.
In the words of Ford design manager Melvin Betancourt: “It was parked between two Ferraris, and I saw that car a mile away.”
The Taurus by Mobsteel takes some serious underworld undertones. It's fitted with 22-inch, two-piece wheels, cat-back exhaust and custom fascias.
Lincoln MKS by Raceskinz is a different take on luxury for Vegas, and the show car is laden with carbon fiber. It's a Lincoln truly befitting of its surroundings on the Strip.
The F-150 by K-Daddyz Kustomz is the stereotypical SEMA truck, with a multi-color paint job, 24-inch wheels and supercharged 5.4-liter V8.
Also look for a DeWalt Contractor Concept based on the Super Duty.
