'Forzalopnik' lets readers decide the rides

By Joshua Condon Jan 25, 2010 2:51PM
Fans of the "Forza Motorsport" games should head over to gearhead site Jalopnik, which is creating a custom car pack for the upcoming release of "Forza Motorsport 3" and is putting the picks in the readers' hands.

The current crop of 120 cars will be whittled down to 15 (plus an extra vehicle picked by Jalopnik editors). Because 120 is quite an unwieldy number, voting is happening in a round-robin tournament style, with six groups of 20 cars each going through voting stages, reducing that number to 10, and so forth and so on until the magic number of 15 is achieved.

Polls are open for groups one, two and three in round one, and has everything from a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder SWB to a 1960 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagatoa (pictured), plus weird, fun picks like the 1995 Volvo 850 T-5R and a 1992 GMC Syclone pickup.

The polls run three times daily, through Thursday. Polling closes at midnight. Get voting!
