Video: Swearing plow driver buries cars, gets fired

In Massachusetts, where it's a daily competition to see who can be the most annoying driver, this can be expected.

By Clifford Atiyeh Feb 26, 2013 12:34PM
Ever feel like your local plow drivers were purposely putting more snow on your car as some sick, cruel torture to make winter even worse?

Well, up in Lowell, Mass., a working-class suburb north of Boston, one guy really was. Because he filmed it and uploaded the video to YouTube. And then the city promptly fired him.

Mark Hussey of Billerica, another northerly suburb, is what we in Massachusetts refer to as a "Masshole." Massholes can be of any nationality and background, so long as they're driving with extreme indifference while wearing Massachusetts license plates. When they're rocking an obnoxious, rough-idling Boston accent littered with expletives -- the kind local boy Ben Affleck fails miserably trying to imitate -- it can't get much more stereotypical.

But stereotypes are at least in part based on reality, and for Hussey -- a middle-aged man with nose rings who is "f$#$in lovin' the f$#% outta my truck" -- is that guy.

Boston.com reports Hussey was working for a private plowing company that was contracted by the city. He shot a number of other videos that don't involve burying cars in 3-foot piles of snow. So that only qualifies him for temporary Masshole status.

"My only mistake was being overboard with the commentary, if i was explaining what i was doing instead of mouthing off i probably would have got a raise," he wrote on YouTube. "i did get fired, another lesson learned. my fault 100%."

The video's below, and be careful, there are a lot of words that start with the letter "F."

He is an ****.  And an idiot to film & post what he is doing & saying.  Glad he got fired.

Around here, Michigan, where snow is a fact of life, you'd think people would know better.  They have wide driveways with 2 car garages, and where do they park?  On the street, of course, so they can bitch about their cars being plowed in.

He refers to himself with a lowercase i, which is exactly what he is.

Not the person you want working in public service.  As a direct employee or contractor.  I would have fired him in a second....and really enjoyed every second of it.

With his vocabulary of F words, it's no wonder he is in a plow truck.   He can't make it in the professional world.

wow! fired for what? doing his job? i'm a snow plow driver and absolutely didn't see anything wrong with what he was doing except clearing the road so that humanoids could venture out to do their daily thing, the snow has to be pushed to the side no other way around it especially with that much snow.

I had this happen to me several years ago when I lived in a steep mountain home with a steep uphill climb to get out of the driveway. We would park on the shoulder the night we were expecting storms and this guy would bury us as deep as possible for it each time. One morning I came up to find my vehicle had plowed snow pushed up against the front , rear and sides almost four ft deep. Made a call to the County and I don't know if he got fired but they came out, dug my car out, and it never happened again. There's no excuse for it other than the driver is an ****!

Don't pick on this guy, calling him stupid or a redneck...He's simply a chowder head.  Probably a Patriots fan too.  They know not what they do...or how stupid they are.

Only thing he did wrong was post this video to get citizens upset and in turn lose his job.  He said he was doing his job.  He was told to come push the snow back because people shoveled the snow from their driveways into the streets.  The streets being clear of snow is more important than anyone's driveway. Emergency vehicles still need to use the streets during a snow storm.  If you don't like shoveling your plow snowed in car move to Florida. Rehire this guy.

Big deal, he's just having fun while doing his job.  Those guys go for hours and hours during storms. If this helps get him through it, more power to him.

What do they think he should do-- pull his blade up?   Hop out and help them shovel out?     Please.

Whats the problem? He is doing his job plowing snow. In my opinion, he is nothing more than the typical American trying to make the best out of a bad situation and have a little fun while he's at it. We are all a**holes to each other on a daily basis....admit it, its fun! His only slip up was videotaping it and posting it on Youtube. I like the guy....he's your next-door neighbor! Plow on motherfu**er!!!!!

In Indy, back in the 60's...a company was hired to plow the streets but they also owned a towing company, they plowed two or three blocks of snow and no one could get out....they sent a couple wreckers and was charging everyone 25 bucks just to pull their cars over the snowbank....it made the news but I don't know if the city made them pay the money back or not...my mom paid them and she didn't have much money (lowlife b**tards)...if I was older back then, they would have had to tow the wrecker ~_~
