Video: Swearing plow driver buries cars, gets fired
In Massachusetts, where it's a daily competition to see who can be the most annoying driver, this can be expected.
Well, up in Lowell, Mass., a working-class suburb north of Boston, one guy really was. Because he filmed it and uploaded the video to YouTube. And then the city promptly fired him.
Mark Hussey of Billerica, another northerly suburb, is what we in Massachusetts refer to as a "Masshole." Massholes can be of any nationality and background, so long as they're driving with extreme indifference while wearing Massachusetts license plates. When they're rocking an obnoxious, rough-idling Boston accent littered with expletives -- the kind local boy Ben Affleck fails miserably trying to imitate -- it can't get much more stereotypical.
But stereotypes are at least in part based on reality, and for Hussey -- a middle-aged man with nose rings who is "f$#$in lovin' the f$#% outta my truck" -- is that guy.
Boston.com reports Hussey was working for a private plowing company that was contracted by the city. He shot a number of other videos that don't involve burying cars in 3-foot piles of snow. So that only qualifies him for temporary Masshole status.
"My only mistake was being overboard with the commentary, if i was explaining what i was doing instead of mouthing off i probably would have got a raise," he wrote on YouTube. "i did get fired, another lesson learned. my fault 100%."
The video's below, and be careful, there are a lot of words that start with the letter "F."

Only thing he did wrong was post this video to get citizens upset and in turn lose his job. He said he was doing his job. He was told to come push the snow back because people shoveled the snow from their driveways into the streets. The streets being clear of snow is more important than anyone's driveway. Emergency vehicles still need to use the streets during a snow storm. If you don't like shoveling your plow snowed in car move to Florida. Rehire this guy.
Big deal, he's just having fun while doing his job. Those guys go for hours and hours during storms. If this helps get him through it, more power to him.
What do they think he should do-- pull his blade up? Hop out and help them shovel out? Please.
Whats the problem? He is doing his job plowing snow. In my opinion, he is nothing more than the typical American trying to make the best out of a bad situation and have a little fun while he's at it. We are all a**holes to each other on a daily basis....admit it, its fun! His only slip up was videotaping it and posting it on Youtube. I like the guy....he's your next-door neighbor! Plow on motherfu**er!!!!!
