This writer obviously prefers foreign cars and ignores domestic comfort cars.  If you could get any more comfortable or safer at 70 miles an hour than you do in my Cadillac DeVille, you would definitely doze off.  The big car seems to float on a cloud as you sit in deep comfort, has plenty of power, a great music system, an advanced braking system and is totally worry free with Onstar.  Get real!  Cadillac is one great car for travel.  Buy American and buy well made products.

Went all over the East Coast in a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country Limited and was more comfortable in that Van than I am at home.  Would drive to Alaska if I had the time!!! Will settle for the Grand Canyon next year though. Is like a mini motor home.

Just finished ten day family trip 78 hours in the car, 3,600 miles

five folks in a 2007 Suburban room for luggage, ice chest and laptops and

ipods all were happy.

The west Coast is beautiful Washington, Oregon , California up the 5 down the 101.

Only in America, forest to the sea.

The Suburban also hauls our Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops on fun trips year round.

The person that rode in the Prius has to be a family of 95 pound 4 foot 3 manikins.

Is there anyone at MSN that knows anything about cars? From the articles presented here I seriously doubt it.

I recently drove a 2011 Ford Focus from Atlanta to Portland, Oregon and back, and was very pleased! It gets darned good mileage, and is quite comfortable. Stick in my iPod with my favorite driving music on full random, and I'm set.

Look at all the uncomfortable  foreign ground slides listed.   On long trips,  I will take my older Cadillac Sedan de Ville over any car made for the pure comfort of ride, absence of road noise, comfortable seats, ease of control  and custom air conditioning.   Set the speed control at 72 mph and cruise in comfort all over America.   And the big mamma gets 25-26 mpg at that speed.   Gotta love it, especially when you are 6'4" and weigh in at 235.
