About the Tokyo Motor Show
The Tokyo Motor Show is one of the top automotive exhibitions in Asia, showing new cars, trucks and motorcycles every two years. This is the 41st Tokyo Show and carries a theme of "Fun Driving for Us, Eco Driving for Earth," making the case for the fact that "fun" and "environment" are not mutually exclusive. The show takes place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba and will be open to the public for 13 days beginning on October 23, 2009. Unfortunately, the economy has taken its toll on attendance, with most American and European car companies not making the trip across the Pacific for this year's show. Still, the show will have exhibits from 122 companies representing 8 countries, with expected debuts from Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Suzuki and more.
